Check out the 2017 Parents Trail Guide!
The Parents Trail Guide describes our program, heritage of leadership and our unique tradition of camp’s themes. Browsing the Guide will provide answers to your immediate questions – however, we recommend that you spend time reading all of the information. It also serves as a comprehensive information resource for Geneva Glen.
Other Important Info For Parents:
Labor Day Weekend 2017, Geneva Glen is the place to be!
It's finally here! 95 Years of amazing camp experiences and only 4 days to celebrate - we better make the most of them!
Two magnificent events are happening this weekend: the Camp Family Reunion and the 95th Anniversary Celebration. The Reunion is a slow, sort of "rustic" getaway filled with good food, good air, good friends, and good memories and it's a great way to warm up to the huge Anniversary Celebration on Sunday!
Please go to www.genevaglen.org/95th for more information and to RSVP for either the Reunion Weekend or the Sunday Celebration BBQ.
Join us for the 2017 Geneva Glen Upward Trail Run! An event to benefit Camp Stewardship and Trail Maintenance.
When: May 6, 2017
Your entry in the main Trail Run/Hike gets you an event T-Shirt and eligibility for other prizes! All event proceeds go towards camp stewardship and trail maintenance causes. The run (or hike!) will take you through several iconic camp locations, including Black Canyon, the Saddle, Marshmallow Meadow, and a fitting finish at Marathon Lodge! After-run party will include food, games, friends, and fun. Prizes will be available for top finishers and fundraisers.
Come here to meet the GG horses and learn about the program at the camp barn.
Our summer program focuses on basic western horsemanship, teaching basic control so that campers can enjoy rides on our beautiful trails. Typically, 7-12 year old campers will spend a day in the arena learning skills and then alternate to a short trail ride to practice what they have learned. Younger kids will learn basic reining and control and how to use their “natural aids” while riding. For teenagers, we offer many different riding options from arena instruction to trail rides.
