MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Training and experience in archery (documented)
- Ability to teach archery to campers of all ages
- Ability to set up a range, order and repair equipment
- Desire and ability to work with children outdoors
- Ability to relate to one's peer group
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Good character, integrity and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control
- Current CPR and first-aid certifications REQUIRED
- High school graduate or equivalent, or at least 18 years of age

CAMP GOALS

The Goal of Geneva Glen Camp is to provide experiences for children and youth that promote discovery of one's own dignity and worth; encourage respect for all races, creeds and backgrounds; stimulate love for and care of the natural world; develop commitments to enduring values; train youth as creative school and community leaders; and to empowering participators to live at their highest level and to enrich their home communities through what they have learned at Geneva Glen.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

To teach and coordinate camp's archery program, maintaining standards that lead to a quality program
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up archery range during staff orientation
- Conduct daily check of equipment in program area for safety, cleanliness, and good repair
- Submit orders for equipment and supplies when needed, ensuring timely arrival of materials
- Teach and monitor proper use of equipment
- Keep records on participantâs progress
- Conduct initial and end of season inventory, storing, and keeping equipment in good condition
- Assist in packing materials and supplies for following season
- Evaluate current season and make suggestions for following season
- Fulfill all requirement as a counselor to assigned cabin/dorm
- These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required
