
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to teach air riflery to young campers
- Ability to set up a safe range, order and repair equipment
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Current CPR and first aid preferred
- Good character, integrity and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control

- The Goal of Geneva Glen Camp is to provide experiences for children and youth that promote discovery of one's own dignity and worth; encourage respect for all races, creeds and backgrounds; stimulate love for and care of the natural world; develop commitments to enduring values; train youth as creative school and community leaders; and to empowering participators to live at their highest level and to enrich their home communities through what they have learned at Geneva Glen.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
- To teach and coordinate campers BBs program, maintaining standards that lead to a quality program.
- Set up BB range during staff orientation
- Help participants improve, help keep campers waiting in line occupied
- Conduct daily check of facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness and good repair
- Submit orders for equipment and supplies when needed, ensuring timely arrival of materials
- Teach and monitor proper use of equipment
- Store equipment safely at the end of each day and the end of the season
- Fulfill all requirements as a counselor to assigned cabin/dorm
- Evaluate the current season and make recommendations for following season
- These are not the only duties to be performed, some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required
- Ability to set up range
- Ability to communicate with young children
- Ability to teach safety and proper use of BB guns
