"I think the most important thing that camp gives to kids is the collective tone and culture of a place that recognizes and rewards kids for striving to be better human beings. We move through each day and every activity with the ideals of kindness, integrity, honesty, courage to do the right thing, humility, and self- betterment as constants that are all around us. We talk openly and honestly about what it means to better ourselves. We all serve as role models for each other as we interact and develop meaningful relationships. Here we vigilantly watch out for and celebrate acts of goodness rather than simply guard against acts of poor judgment and infractions. This magical tone infects everyone from our youngest campers to our most senior staff members."
