Myths and Magic is our five-day/four night introductory camping experience for the youngest campers, ages six through eight (1st, 2nd and 3rd graders). Characters from children's literature and legends come alive through skits, storytelling, and singing. And, when combined with Geneva Glen's activities of horseback riding, crafts, archery, sleeping under the stars, plus an evening under the big top and a festive "Dirty Derby," it's a perfect beginning camping experience!
Because this is often the first time campers leave home without their parents, we maintain a 2:1 camper-counselor ratio during Myths to give each child special attention. Our philosophy is to keep children so busy during Myths, they don't have time to get homesick!
