
The final two-week session is called World Friendship. Highlighting world cultures, religions, sports and talents, "World Friendship" emphasizes international fellowship among nations. Sportsmanship plays a key role in this program and organized sports are prevalent. Olympics, a carnival complete with tiki torches, roasted "boar," a costume beach dance and Hawaiian skits are favorite activities. "World Friendship" presents the highly prized Sportmanship Award and the Geneva Glen Peace Prize Award at its closing Chautauqua ceremony.
