Photographer
Position Summary
The main responsibility of the Photographer is to take photos to be shared with the Camp Family. The rest of your time is spent working with campers and helping with the camp program. While Geneva Glen has made an effort to provide a general description of the duties and tasks of this position, this is a partial job description. Geneva Glen may modify these tasks and responsibilities at any time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Desire and ability to work with children outdoors
- Ability to relate to one’s peer group
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, creativity, patience, and self-control
- Self-starter
- Strong organizational skills
- Current CPR and first aid certificates preferred
- At least sixteen years of age
- Skills using a DSLR camera are helpful but not required to do this job effectively.
- Experience with editing software (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop) is helpful but not required.

Operations Director / Executive DirectorsResponsibilities
- Take photos that will be shared with parents/guardians and used for other marketing purposes.
- Take Cabin/Dorm group photos and process them to be printed and given to the campers at the end of each session.
- Gather photos that other staff members take.
- Use camp-provided cameras and computers to organize the photo catalog in Adobe Lightroom.
- Upload photos at the end of each session for camper parents/guardians.
- Be part of the camp community so that you can effectively photograph life at camp.
- Help design the end-of-summer Staff Slideshow.
- Evaluate the current season and make recommendations for equipment, supplies, and program for the following season.
- These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
Essential Functions
- Ability to navigate the camp terrain to follow groups and capture different activities.
- Ability to observe and assess safety regulations and hazards.
- Ability to act quickly in case of emergency.
- Ability to communicate instructions and directions to staff and campers.
